On August 24, 2011 armed federal agents raided Gibson Guitar in Nashville, Tennessee for the second time in two years. On October 8, 2011, (Gibson, 2011) “Thousands of Gibson guitar supporters showed up on Saturday in Nashville at the We Stand With Gibson Rally against the federal raids on the guitar manufacturer.” I was there and got to witness firsthand the passion to restore our freedoms that is growing in Americans. Let’s face it, people are waking up and when a free people wake up, some form of a SHTF scenario is not far behind.

Massacre In Port Arthur

On April 28, 1996 a man named Martin Bryant and described by his sentencing judge as a “pathetic social misfit”, used two semi-automatic rifles to gun down 35 people in Port Arthur in Australia. This spurred the 1996-1997 long-gun confiscation in Australia which according to Williams D. (2008) “…12 years on, new research suggests the government response to Port Arthur was a waste of public money and has made no difference to the country's gun-related death rates.” The self proclaimed architect of that long-gun confiscation is a woman named Rebecca Peters. Rebecca Peters, among other things, has been the director of the International Action Network on Small Arms (IANSA) which is a global organization against gun violence.
